Attack on Titan 2 is a battle simulation game that's based on Isayama Hajime's popular manga series. The game combines slick graphics and solid gameplay with an immersive environment that's designed to look just like the anime adaptation of Isayama-sensei's work. That gives the game a rather unique feel that most anime-based battle simulators just can't match.

While you might not care for it if you haven't followed Attack on Titan from the beginning, fans are sure to love this title. It gives players a complete sense of omni-directional mobility, so you'll feel every bit as epic as Eren Yeager might when he's taking down the giant attackers that continue to plague humanity in the game's universe.

New players will be able to follow the game's setting in an interactive form that gives them the freedom to explore different characters individually while they explore new areas developed for the game. Those who've played through the first one probably won't be able to import their save data, but they will be able to use the knowledge they've gained to skip many of these missions and get right into the heat of battle.

Regardless of how much experience you've had, you'll probably find the Titans in this version more than a challenge. The developers made sure to not only buff up their AI but also make them behave more like the Titans did in later seasons of the anime. That means they'll be smarter and more aggressive, which is often a lethal combination.
